(P.A.) AUCKLAND, March 13. The Ohinemuri Jockey Club held the first day of its autumn meeting at Paeroa on Saturday. The weather was fine and the track fast. The totalisator handled £66,087, compared with £63,015 on the first day last year, an increase of £3072. Phoenix broke a leg when running in the Patetonga Hack Hurdles and was destroyed.
