RAILWAY MEN’S “DISGUST" WITH WAGES INCREASE
(P.A.) WESTPORT, This Day. At a large meeting of the Westport branch of the A.S.R.S. held last evening, the following resolution was carried unanimously:— “That this branch views with disgust the wages rise as granted by the tribunal following the recommendations of the Wages and Anomalies Committee. Further, having lost faith in the tribunal as constituted, we call on the national executive to devise ways and means of instituting a year-to-year agreement as enjoyed by other industrial unions.”
