“Miss New Zealand” Quest
Miss Mary Greener, a student nurse at Kew Hospital, is the third Southland entrant nominated in the “Miss New Zealand” quest. Miss Greener, who is 20, was sponsored yesterday by the Southland branch of the 2nd N.Z.E.F. Association. The other two entrants are Misses Joan Telfer (Invercargill) and Pauline Metzger (Bluff).—(P.A.)
