CANADIAN LABOUR CRITICAL OF RUSSIA’S ACTIVITIES
OTTAWA, October 13
The Canadian Congress of Labour which is affiliated with the American Congress of Industrial Organisations, has approved a stiffly-worded foreign policy resolution denouncing Russia as"an aggressor. The resolution condemned “totalitarian activities in Soviet Russia and the satellite nations.” and the Berlin blockade. A minority headed by representatives of the United Electrical Workers objected to the resolution, saying that big business had chosen Russia as a scapegoat and that the Marshal Plan was “imperialist aggression.”
