CHINESE GOVERNMENT CLAIMS VICTORIES
SHANGHAI, October 13. The recapture of the South Manchurian seaport of Yingkow and an important stronghold north of Chmchow were the most significant of several major Chinese Government victories claimed today. The Government’s recapture • of Yingkow is expected to ease its supply problem in the Chinchow sector. Other Government successes in the last 24 hours included the “liquidation” of nearly 7000 Communists in the Shenso' city of Tungchow and the recapture of Lingying, in Central Honan. '
