Westport Team's Visit
The Westport Old Boys’ Club’s junior team played matches on the West Coast during the week-end, defeating the Westland champions. Pirates, at Hokitika by 9 points to 3 on. Saturday, and losing to Blaketown by 18 points to 11, yesterday in a match played at Omoto.
100-Mile Cycle Race The West Coast (North Island) 100imile road cycling championship on Saturday was won by M. Hollows (Palmerston North), 6hr Omin 50sec. Robertson (Palmerston North), 6hr Omin 54sec, was second, and S. Mitchell (Wanganui), 6hr lmin 30sec, was third. —(P.A.)
