BOWLING Greymouth Club Opens New Season
There was .a good attendance of members and visitors from other clubs for the opening of the Greymouth Bowling Club’s 1948 season on Saturday afternoon. The president, Mr W. E. Prmg, in declaring the season open, expressed the hope that it would be a successful one. . The first bowl v.'»as sent up by Mrs Bring and Mrs L. Mercer sent up the first kitty. A progressive pairs tournament was played during the afternoon.
