OBITUARY Mr N. R. Rowe

The death occurred suddenly at Nelson yesterday of Mr Nelson Ronald Rowe, son of Mr H. C. Rowe, chief postmaster at Greymouth. Mr Rowe, who was 26 years of age, had lived at Takaka and Nelson for some years. He is survived by his wife and a family of four. He also leaves his parents, two brothers, Alan ana Blair, and one sister, Margaret, all of Greyinouth.

Mrs K. M. Felton

The death occurred this morning at Reefton, following a short illness, of Mrs Kate Madeline Felton, wife of Mr Thomas Felton, of Mawheraiti. Born at Christchurch 77 years ago, Mrs Felton was for many years a resident of Greymouth where her husband occupied the position of stationmaster. She later resided at Christchurch but returned to the West Coast several years ago and took up residence at Mawheraiti. Mrs Felton is survived by her husband and two daughters, Mrs E. Hampson (Reefton) and Mrs Griffiths (Oamaru). The funeral will take place at Reefton tomorrow afternoon, leaving St Stephen’s Church for the Suburban cemetery.

Rev. Father Lockington . Advice has been received by Mrs F. D. McLauchlan, Blackmore street, Greymouth, of the death of her uncle, the Rev. Father W. J. Lockington, S.J., of Brisbane. Father Lockington was a well-known Wes_t Cpaster, but he had lived in Australia for many years.

Mr Charles Tandy (P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The death has occurred of Mr - Charles Tandy, aged 88, one of the city’s oldest Wellington-born residents, and a former vice-president of the Wellington Early Settlers’ Association.
