DUTCH CRICKETER ARRESTED ON MURDER CHARGE
(Recd. 10 a.m.) ' ROTTERDAM, October 8. The Dutch cricketer, Arie Molenaar, has been arrested and charged with' complicity in the murder of a shopkeeper in 1945. Molenaar, a fast bowler, had been engaged by the Ramsbottom (Lancashire cricket league) Club as a professional for next season. The Dutch police allege that Molenaar and two other men murdered a shopkeeper at Zandvoort, north Rotterdam and robbed him of £2OOO.
