Edinburgh Festival Opened
An impressive ceremony was held today in Edinburgh to mark the opening of the Scottish festival of music and arts, which will last three weeks. Famous musicians and singers from many countries will take part, and there will be performances bv some of the world’s best exponents 'of opera, and ballet.—London, August 22.
