ARRIVALS Tuesday, August 24 Kartigi, s.s. (1.15 p.m.), 1156 tons, Pert, from Auckland. Union Steam Ship Co., agents. Kiwitea, s.s. (1.40 p.m.), 1163 tons, Pearson, from Gisborne. Union Steam Shin Co, agents. _ , Rata, s.s. (1,53 p.m.), 375 tons, Fowler, from Nelson. Nancarrow and Co, agents, COASTWISE MOVEMENTS The Kartigi arrived from Auckland this afternoon and is expected to sail with coal on return on the early morning tide on Thursday. . The Kiwitea also arrived this afternoon from Gisborne. She is waiting for cranes and coal to load for Wellington. The Rata arrived this afternoon from Nelson to load coal for Castlecliff. The Kaimiro is expected to sail from Auckland this evening for Portland and Greymouth. She is expected to leave Portland about Thursday. The Gabriella is scheduled to clear Wellington tomorrow for Greymouth with approximately 300 tons of general cargo. After discharging she will load coal and timber for return. The Kaimai is due to leave Wellington tomorrow for Greymouth and on arrival will load coal for return.
