CYCLING Saturday’s Race Was Won By P. Jenkins

P. Jenkins, riding off 6min„ won the Greymouth Cycling Club's 28-mile road race from Karoro to Kumara and return on Saturday afternoon. Second place went to B. Reid, also off 6min„ and P. Egan was third. Fastest time was gained by E. Maguigan, who covered the distance in 68min 24 4-ssec. Fourth and fifth places went to T. Egan and A. King sen., both of whom have sons riding at the present time. The boys’ three-mile race on Saturday afternoon was won by K. Morgan, who also gained fastest time. Second and third places went to O. Duffy and D.
