Palmer, of Invercargill, and the purchaser was Mr J. L. Cheesman. oi Wellington. The four-year-old gelding Harley, offered on account of Mr W?’r. Toon. of Christchurch, was bought by Mr A. Yarndlsy. of Te Awamutu, for 225gns. Top price among the two-year-olds and untried stock was 200 gns for a two-vear-old colt by Marshall Hall from Great Lake. The-five-vear-old brood mare, Sieglight, by
Siegfried from Strong Light, was bought by Mr W. E. Hazlett for 450gns. The sale attracted a better crowd than usual, and of the 35 lets offered, only six were passed. Changes of Stables Mr W. L.
