Ron Stanley Returns
Ron Stanley, former New Zealand amateur middleweight boxing champion, made a sensational ring reappearance at Waitoa (Auckland) recently by putting well-performed D. Bruce away in one round. Stanley has been laid aside for some time as a result of illness. Stanley promises to make matters interesting for Rex Chooque and Stuart Gunn, two of the best boys in this particular division, when the national championships are held in Dunedin.
