M.C.C. Team For Tour Of South Africa
(Rec. 11.45 a.m.) LONDON. Aug. 12. The M.C.C. has invited the rollowing players to tour South Africa: — F. Mann (captain), S. Griffith, C. Palmer, Pi. Simpson, L. Hutton, D. Compton. C. Washbrook, A. Bedser, G. Gladwin, J. Crapp and A. Watkins. One or two more may be invited. English Test Team LONDON, August 12. The M.C.C. has announced that Washbrook is unfit to play in the fifth cricket test against Australia, which begins at the Oval, on Saturday. Crapp has been asked to play.
