Record Price for Heifer —A recorci price of 450'gns for a yearling heifer sent overseas was paid by Mr Lindsay Nicholas, Melbourne, for a yearling Aberdeen Angus heifer bought from Mr Jasper Herrick, “Tautane, Walpukurau. The heifer was sent by rail yesterday for Aucklana, from where it will leave by the Komata for Australia this week.-(P.A.) Marathon Rubber Accounts—The accounts for the year oi Marathon Rubber Footwear, L>td., disclose that after taxation provision of £24 781, and together with £2424 brought in, a total of £16,206 will be available for distribution.
