U. S. MINERS DEFY FEDERAL COURT
(Rec. 11.15 a.m.) NEW YORK, April 5. The nation’s 400,000 soft-coal miners today defied the Federal Court injunction to end their three weeks’ strike. - Mr John L. Lewis, the president of the United Mine Workers, told the miners they could please themselves about returning to work.
