ARGENTINE LOAN TO SPAIN
| BUENOS AIRES, April 3. I The Argentine Government today i granted Spain a credit of 437,500,000 I dollars to buy Argentine food. ! Argentina, under the agreement ’ signed today, will be allowed to con- [ vert Argentine pesos into Spanish ’ pesetas for investment in Spanish industrial and commercial enterprises. Argentina has also agreed to lift import restrictions on a large number of Spanish products to help to restore jthe balance of payments between 'Argentina and Spain. j The credit will be extended to 'Spain in five annual instalments oF 87,500,000 dollars each. i ——
