Visit By Archdeacon
Church services at Greymouth and also at Cobden and Runanga during the week-end were conducted by the Ven. Archdeacon T. J. Smith, of Nelson. He also officiated at the induction ceremony of the Rev. A. R. Miller as vicar of Cobden and Runanga. Among those who spoke at the official welcome to the Archdeacon at Runanga on Sunday evening were the Rev. K. G. Aubrey (vicar of Greymouth), and Messrs Kerr (Cobden) and Brown (Runanga). Children of the Runanga Sunday School presented several items, while Mesdames Ellis and Taylor each sang a solo. Archdeacon Smith left on return to Nelson this morning.
