Ahmed made a state entry info ‘the capital today. His rivals, including- Abdullah el Wazir and Ahmed’s three brothers, Ibrahim, Yahya and Ismal, are held captives in Sanna.’- „ , • ■ According to unconfirmed reports received earlier, Emir Ahmed’s tribesmen have captured the Walled city of Sanna, capital of Yemen, and Ahmed has been proclaimed King ,of Yemen. The reports said that Ahmed, personally entered the city. He is the eldest son of the murdered King of Yemen. His men have been, beseiging Sanna, which the forces of Emir Abdullah Wazir, self-appointed King, have been defending. Iraq refused to help Emir Abdullah el -Wazir, who, it ‘is repqrted, sent a message to the representatives of the Big. Four in Cairo, asking for.help. , A spokesman for the British Foreign Office.in London said that Britain had reiolied sympathetically to communications from the self-proclaimed King of Yemen, but her reply had not implied recognition of either of the two warring factions in Yemen.
