New Tourist Cruiser
A hew tourist cruiser of the mod'ern American type, designed by Mr William Atkin, has been built for the Government mail service at Lake Wanaka. The cruiser, which will be known as the Muratai, was transported. from Invercargill to Wanaka by road on Sunday. The Muratai is of the V-bottom type, and will be the biggest and most modern tourist launch on the southern lakes.’ Construction of the new launch has taken the contractors, Light Craft Builders, Ltd., about eight months.
