Clipper Puts Back

A slight mechanical defect forced the Pan American Airways Clipper Ocean Express to return to Whenuapai after it was 100 miles out on the first stage of its flight to San Francisco yesterday morning. The aircraft had 12 passengers. Captain J. M.
