Nearly Half Expenses Paid
(Rec. 9.10 a.m.) LONDON, October 13.
With no less than a third of its tour completed, the New Zealand Rugby League team is nearly half-way towards covering the expenses of the tour. These were tentatively estimated at £lB,OOO. So far the gross gate returns in the seven matches played have totalled nearly £13,500, of which the New Zealanders’ share will be £6,700.
