VOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that under and by virtue of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1933,” “The Local Elections and Polls Act, 1925” and any amendments thereto, and the regulations under the Acts referred to herein AN ELECTION of MAYOR AND NINE COUNCILLORS for the Borough of Greymouth will be held on WEDNESDAY, the 19th day of November, 1947, and further notice is hereby given that I appoint the Town Clerk’s Temporary Office, at the Municipal Gas Office, 100 Tainui street, Greymouth, as the place, and WEDNESDAY, the 29 th day of October, 1947 as the day for NOMINATION OF CANDIDATES. Each Nomination Paper must be signed by TWO ELECTORS of the Borough of; Greymouth and by the candidate, and must be delivered to the Returning Officer, or addressed to him and delivered at the Town Clerk’s Temporary Office, at the Municipal Gas Office, 100 Tainui street, Greymouth, before Noon on the said 29th day of October, 1947.
