Large Sum Of Money Stolen From Kumara Home
[SPECIAL TO STAR] KUMARA, This Day.
Returning to their home in Second street, Kumara, 'early, this morning, Mr and Mrs J. F. Gilbert found that the house had been entered and a large sum of money had been stolen. Mr and Mrs* Gilbert had been attending a social evening and the house had' been unoccupied for some hours. It is understood that the money was taken from a drawer in one of the rooms.
The actual amount of cash missing has not been disclosed, but it is believed to be a considerable sum.
