Night Trotting In N.S.W. After a keen debate, ** the New South Wales Parliamentary Labour Labour Party successfully opposed the Premier (Mr J, McGirr) and decided that night trotting with betting should be introduced as soon as possible in New South Wales. It is believed that legislation to this effect will be .introduced before the end of the year. An effective campaign by trotting interests ensured that'the caucus vote should be almost unanimous. Mr McGirr expressed disappointment at the result because of his conviction that many matters of more importance should have priority over night trotting.—Sydney, September 25. ?.
