Wives Of Britons Still Held In Russia
(Rec. 11 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 2. Russia has finally and irrevocably rejected the British request that Russia should permit the wives of British ex-servicemen to rejoin their husbands, says Reuter's diplomatic correspondent. The Soviet Vice-Commissar of Foreign Affairs, Mr Vyshinsky, “with regret,” gave this decision to the’ British Minister at Moscow, Mr Frank Roberts,
