LEFT WING VICTORY IN AUSTRALIA ON NATIONALISATION
(Rec. 1.15 p.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. By 170 votes to' 128 the Congress of The Australasian Council of Trade Unions not only approved the nationalisation of banking, but .urged that the steel and coal industries should also bo nationalised. The motion is regarded as a victory for the Left Wing in industrial labour, as many moderates opposed the nationalisation of steel ahd coal, saying it would embarrass the Government. ■ -
