BIG LAND TRANSFER IN WATAROA AREA: 900 ACRES SOLD
A. total of jiist on 900 acres of land in South Westland was involved in an application heard by the Westland Land Sales Committee at Hokitika yesterday. The vendor was T. Nolan who sought to sell to R. E. Nolan five blocks of land totalling 889 acres in the Wataroa survey district, for £2300.
The committee approved of the transaction at the figure sought. Other applications granted by the committee yesterday are as follows (others were adjourned, some for hearing at Greymouth on Friday):
