With 331 points. Otago won the Now Zealand University winter tournament, which finished today. Victoria was second with .251. points, Auckland third with 24 ; ?, Canterbury fourth with 15.7, Massey Agricultural College, scored 41 points and Canterbury Agricultural College .! point.
In the final of the Association football contest, Auckland beat Lincoln 8-0, Victoria beat Canterbury 6-2, Otago beat Lincoln 11-0, The following recommendations for New Zealand University Blues were announced at the tournament ball:— Men’s hockey, P. Munro (Massey), R. G. Coldham (Auckland), I. Miller (Canterbury), D. R. Smith (Canterbury), M. C. Robbins (Auckland), B. M. Brookh (Auckland), P. Cassin (Otago), and D, Neal (Auckland).
