Cinema Manager Held Guilty: French Tragedy
(Rec. 11 a.m.). PARIS, Sept. 1Three experts appointed by the Versailles investigating magistrate began an inquiry into the fire at the cinema "in the suburb of Rueil, when 92 perished and 200 were injured. The Magistrate said the manager, had been guilty of gross negligence by breaches of the fire regulations and failure to have firemen on duty.
