AUSTRALIA EXPECTED TO REDUCE HER IMPORTS HEAVILY

The Federal Cabinet is meeting today to decide upon restrictions, which will affect everyone in Australia if Britain is to receive the full help which Australia has promised in her economic crisis. Correspondents are predicting cuts in imports totalling over £11,000,000 yearly. The anticipated gap between Australian dollar earnings and spendings in the current financial year is between 80,000,000 and 85,000,000 dollars.
