HOP CROP SMALLER LAST SEASON
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. In view of the smallness of the hop crop last season, none will be put up in small parcels for retail sale *this year. As a result of the bad season the crop amounted to only about 750,000 lb., against approximately 1,000,000 lb., which, it was estimated, the area planted should have yielded.
There will be no importation of hops this year.
