RUSSIA REJECTS ATOMIC ENERGY CONTROL PLAN
NEW YORK, Aug. 29.
As was expected, Russia has rejected the detailed proposals for the establishment of a world atomic energy agency adopted by seven nations in the control committee of the United Nations Atomic Energy Commission on August 27. Mr Gromyko told members of the commission today that the proposals were simply an extension of the United States programme and a threat to the national sovereignty of members. . The proposals will be submitted to the Security Council.
