Police Fire On Cairo Demonstration
(Rec. 11 a.m.) CAIRO, August 29. The Egyptian. police fired on demonstrators protesting against the United Nations Security Council. The demonstrators marched from a mosque to the square in the centre of Cairo. The police tried to disperse them with sticks. The demonstrators retaliated with stones. *' The crowd disappeared and regrouped several times, increasing in size on each occasion. The police then fired.
