Communist Bands Retreat Into Bulgaria
(Rec. 2 p.m.) ATHENS, August 12. Communist bands, after making simultaneous attacks on two Greek villages, Pentafolos and Kyprinos, near the Bulgarian frontier, retreated behind the Bulgarian defences and opened fire on Greek reinforcements, killing three Greek Soldiers. This is officially announced today.
