CHURCHILL EXPECTED TO ATTACK SOCIALIST POLICY

(Rec. 1 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 12. The Conservative Party Office announced that Mr Churchill will broadcast on the night of August' 17. The Evening Standard says that the political parties in the House of Commons are allowed a fixed ration of party political broadcasts. Although Mr Attlee’s broadcast on August 10 was non-party, it is likely that Mr Churchill’s will be an attack on Socialist policy.
