HANSON KNOCKS OUT MASON, OF WALES (P.A.) PALMERSTON N„ Aug. 11. In a professional middle-weight boxing contest tonight, Harry Hanson (Wellington) 10.10, beat Harry Mason (Wales), 10.12, on a technical knockout in the fourth round. Hanson lacked confidence in the first round, but soon rattled Mason with powerful rights. Mason relied on stabbing lefts, but had no adequate guard. Hanson came off the ropes in the fourth round with a straight right which dropped Mason, and Mr Tom Heeney, the referee, stopped the fight.
