Mexico’s Attempt To Save Foreign Exchange

Following the Mexican Government’s decision to suspend non-es-sential imports to check the drain on foreign exchange, the State DeparL ment and Commerce Department issued a joint statement declaring that the Mexican action was taken “after full consultation with the United States.”
