10-YEAR-OLD CHILD FOUND GUILTY OF MANSLAUGHTER

(Rec. 10.15 a.m.) LONDON, July 11. John Griffiths, aged 10, was found not guilty of having murdered Glyndwr Owen Charles Parfitt, aged four, who was found drowned in the river Afan on Easter Monday with his ankles and wrists tied with the laces of his boots.

Griffiths was found guilty of manslaughter and was ordered to be detained for 10 years.
