ELECTRIC POWER FROM THE SEA
LONDON, March 17. The Moscow radio reported that tests in using the' force of the sea to produce electric power have oeen successfully made at Leningrad. The apparatus consists of a generator in a drum anchored m the sea. The drum, when the tide reaches a certain level, begins to rotate, setting the generator in motion. The radio claimed thdt the invention could produce up to 1100 kilowatts.
