NO RIDER YET FOR GOLDEN SOUVENIR
SYDNEY, March 17. Golden Souvenir, who will have his first Australian race in the Rawson Stakes riext Saturday, is still without a rider. Darby Munro is considered likely if he is not required for Russia. The trainer, M. McCarten, said he was pleased with the way Golden Souvenir had worked since his arrival and was hopeful that he could strike his best Dominion form. The choice of a rider depended on his form and that of the other horses. As J. Thompson, N. Sellwood, H. Badger, and A. Breasley would be in Sydney for the meeting he did not expect trouble in getting an accomplished rider.
