CHARGES OF THEFT
LABOURER IN COURT AT BLENHEIM (P.A. BLENHEIM, This Day. Arising from a theft from' the Nelson warehouse of J. H. Cock and C 0.,, on February 6, a Christchurch resident, Peter Lawrence Samson, aged 22, a labourer ,appeared in the Magistrate’s Court on charges of breaking and entering and theft. of £7/5/- in cash. He was remanded till February 17, the police stating that other charges are pending. As a result of week-end -incidents in Blenheim, two other Christchurch residents, Clifford Fox, aged 24, and a woman whose name was suppressed, were jointly charged with receiving ffdm Samson various sums of money knowing, it. to have been dishonestly obtained.
