Following were the results of events conducted by the Greymouth Swimming Club at the Municipal Bath yesterday morning:— Men’s 33 1-3yds freestyle (scratch race). —B. C. Priestley, R. Lovell, C. Ackland, dead heat, 1. Time: 18 2-5 sec. Men’s 66 2-3yds backstroke. —B. C. Priestley 1! R. Lovell 2 C. Ackland 3. Time: 62 4-ssec. Women's 50yds freestyle handicap. —Miss A. Zampese (scr) 1; Miss M. O’Leary (3) 2; Miss G. Walker (6) 3. Time: 38 4-ssec. Women’s 33 1-3yds. backstroke handicap.—Miss A. Zampese (scr )1; Miss M. O’Leary (1)2; Time: 31sec. R. Lovell, H. McClymont, D. Sheld, C. G. Coxall, and P. Affleck, of Greymouth, will demonstrate freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke and life-saving at the Hokitika baths tomorrow evening.
