Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Knight left by this morning’s express for Christchurch. Mr. and Mrs. D. Manderson, of Runanga, left by car to-day for Invercargill, where their daughter Miss L. Manderson, will compete in the New Zealand swimming championships next week. The Rev. Dr. Leslie Rumble, M.S.C., S.T.D., of Sydney, is on a visit to the West Coast accompanied by the Rev. Father O’Loughlin, M.S.C., of the Kensington Sacred Heart Monastery, Sydney, and the Rev. Father Anthony Loughnan, S.T.D., of Dunedin.
