DEATH ROLL 130
RIVER STEAMER FIRE AT HONGKONG HONG KONG, Feb. 4. The bodies of 130 persons were removed from the charred hulk of the river steamer Saigon several hours after she had caught fire at the wharf when she was due to leave for Canton. Most, if not all, of those aboard were Chinese. The number of passengers aboard the craft when the fire broke out is uncertain. The authorities fear that there are additional bodies in the wreckage, and also that some of the scores of passengers who leaped overboard to escape the flames were drowned. ■ •
