COMMERCIAL QUALITY CATTLE IN DEMAND AT WAITAHA
Messrs Dalgety and C 0.,. Ltd., report on the cattle sale held at Waitaha yesterday as follows:— There was an entry of about 100 head of fat and store cattle. The best quality steers and cows sold freely but medium quality cows were not as” keenly sought after. Practically everything was sold. The principal sales were as follows: Account Deakin Bros: 2 ccws £7 12/6, 4 cows £3/7/6, 1 cow £5/12/6, 1 runner £4. Account C. Evans: 1 heifer £lO 7/6, 1 heifer £9/7/6.
