Company Fined
On five charges for breaches of the •Control of Prices Emergency Regulations, fines totalling £26 were imposed by Mr F. H. Levien, S.M., on New Zealand Distributors, Ltd., when he delivered a reserved judgment at Auckland. At the hearing last year 24 charges were preferred against the company. A fine of £lO was imposed on an information relating to the sale of 36 dozen corn caps at 10/6 a dozen instead of 7/8. On each of two charges relating to the sale of oily coats without an approved price, the company was fined £5, and on each of two charges relating to the sale of necklets at a price in excess of the approved price, a fine of £3 imposed. The magistrate stated that he was giving the decision on five charges in order to give the company an opportunity tip appeal if it so desired. • »
