John Turner Arrives in N.Z.
John Turner, four and a-half yearold Christchurch boy, the second New Zealand boy to have a screw removed from his lung at the Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia, by Dr. Chevalier L. Jackson, arrived at Auckland by the Pan American clipper last evening. He was accompanied by his father, Mr N. D. P. Turner, and they were met at Whenuapai by Mrs Turner, who had flown from Christchurch. A little pale, probably because of the strain of the long journey, John Turner otherwise looked none the worse lor his experience.—(P.A.)
