Enough of Civilisation
Four monks left London recently “to fly away from civilisation for . good.” The leader, Father Jules Detry, is Belgian and the others Swiss; They z intend to spend the rest of their lives in a Tibet monastery. Thejourney will take them two months. They go by air to Tali (western China) by way of the Middle East and Calcutta, and travel the last 300 miles on foot.
